In addition to her role as the inaugural Chairwoman of the National Jr. Board for the National Eating Disorders Association, Allison has dedicated over 8 years of service on the national board of NEDA. She has actively advocated for the cause by lobbying with the Eating Disorders Coalition on Capitol Hill. Allison’s impactful efforts have reached a wide audience, as she has personally addressed over 100,000 individuals and millions more through various media platforms, raising awareness about the dangers of eating disorders. Furthermore, she has contributed her expertise to the Eating Disorders Network of Central Florida and the Central Florida aide Chapters as a board member. Notably, Allison co-chaired the 2016 NEDA Gala in New York City, successfully raising over $1 million to support this important cause.
