Could you brief about its successful journey so far?
Double R Productions, founded in 1987, has successfully been operating from Washington,DC for more than 35 years. It is a full-service international communications, video and television production company, which has served clients as varied as major national newspapers, Fortune 500 companies, the US government, associations, corporations, local arts organizations, and many non- profits.
How do you create so much traffic with the videos/ promos/trailer that you create?
We get our work out there via many means, such as social media; sharing with our extensive media and private lists; and urging clients to do same.
What is your primary goal when creating these videos?
Our primary goal is to gain viewership through targeting the client’s preferred audience.
With the work that you have done with Double R Productions, do you think that you have exceeded the industry benchmark when it comes to click-through rate?
YES! We have unquestionably exceeded the industry benchmark when it comes to click-through rate.
Could you list a few best performing ads or videos or films which you know resulted very high in sales or e-commerce site?
Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees, It Grows as Trees (TikTok): we created this super-short, trendy video; with the help of our social media partner, KAMI; with drone footage provided by the client, Reeds Green Growers. It really took off on #farmtok with over 2.2 million views.
What is your approach towards every project that you undertake from the beginning till post-production and marketing?
We follow the Seven Ps of Production: Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Production!
How do you make the impossible possible with your exceptional and dazzling professionalism?
Organization is the key! We follow a friendly, creative, yet professional approach to every project.
Do you service only in US or do you extend it around the global?
Reed’s career as a reporter, anchor, special projects’ television producer/director, and now President of Double R Productions, has covered all major regions of the USA and the world. Her assignments have taken her abroad to witness crisis situations in Israel and El Salvador. She began her media career as a radio station news director.
Double R Productions (Double R) has also provided communications assistance to include film, video and television services, original broadcast programming, presentation training and coaching along with state-of-the-art post- production, and graphics. Our projects range from national public service campaigns and image pieces for non-profits and associations to corporate and government presentations of all shapes and sizes. About the President/Owner:
Rosemary Reed is the President/Owner of Double R Productions (Double R). Reed established her reputation in Washington, DC, working for the FOX network as the executive producer of Panorama, the nation’s longest running, live, daily talk show with Maury Povich. She also produced the first weekend news hour for WTTG-TV (FOX) in Washington.
Her awards are too numerous to list in this short bio, but include an Emmy, a CINE, many Telly Awards, American Women in Radio & Television, UPI, AP, and local ITVA Peer Awards.
Reed’s media experience both in front of the camera and behind the scenes; an academic background in theatre and speech; plus, teaching experience on the high school and college levels; provide her with ideal qualifications for media training.
