What is the Vision and Mission of Financial Markets Online?
Our vision was to become the leading trading education platform globally, which we have already achieved, fortunately within 5 years of incorporation and have recently won numerous awards.
We now want to give our students the opportunity to build a secondary or primary income from trading the Financial Markets.
For now, our company has two trading floors in both London and UAE, whereas, our plan is to use our current model and build trading floors in different parts of the world, and thus students can have access to our education from a variety of location as well.
Our plans are to establish further trading floors in both Africa and Asia by 2025.
As a Financial Markets Online student, what would I become part of once I enrol for a course?
At first, as a student, you would have the pleasure of joining our growing community of traders and students. Many of our students come from different walks of life.
Once you are enrolled on one of our many courses, you would be assigned a personal coach and a trading mentor. The idea of this is to have someone hold your hand and coach you through your journey.

If one wants to understand and interpret how a market is moving and what it’s ultimately going to do in the near future, which course should one enrol for?
Our courses heavily focus on one-on-one coaching as it is important to first understand your trading style, approach, risk appetite, and how adaptive you are to the current sentiment. Once we know YOU as a trader, we can then tailor the education for the next 12 months to improve each individual. We suggest that all new traders start with the Master class, which is an intensive crash course for over 3 days. It ends with a full day of live trading, which sets the trader up for success in the near future.
What’s your piece of advice for Risk Management Strategy?
Have a pre-determined % that you are willing to risk per trade. We stick with 1% max risk per trade rule and use lot size calculators to ensure you stay within your parameters. Get consistent winning trades at a 1:1 risk to reward ratio and then increase.
If one has experience in trading already but wants to focus on a particular area of trading for example, high profit strategies, would you customize your course to specialize only in that area?
One of the best benefits of becoming a student with FMO is the ability to have regular coaching from a professional trader. Coaching sessions can be tailored for an individual. If one would like to concentrate on the high profitable strategies, this can be a sole focus on the upcoming coaching sessions. Every student leaves us with a Financial Plan to work towards with their trading goals.
What is that one useful tip or trick that you would like to share for becoming a successful and profitable trader?
Be PATIENT – work on % growth and not on monetary to start with and be accountable. The only way we measure success is based on ‘profit and loss’ and NOT based on how great you are reading a chart. Our coaches are also accountable and would have a mutual understanding to achieve your financial goals through trading.

What is the history behind Financial Markets Online?
Financial Markets Online was incorporated in April 2018 by two young trading professionals following years of working in London City in a variety of brokerage houses, hedge funds and trading floors.
The company celebrated its 5th year in 2023 and shortly after was awarded the global best trading educator award. We are currently launching our UAE office in Dubai in November 2023
About the Financial Markets Online (FMO) Founders:
Samuel Fuller is a Director and Senior Trader at the leading educational company–Financial Markets Online. He co-founded it in 2018. Before founding Financial Markets Online, Samuel spent five years in the financial education industry, taught students from all over the world and led a team to expand the company internationally, which resulted in opening trading floors in South Africa, the Philippines, Mexico, and Sweden.
Prior to that, he had spent several years as a stockbroker and consultant at the leading City of London investment managers Henderson Global Investors. An expert in quantitative & technical analysis and trading in financial markets, Samuel is a well-known financial commentator. He has been featured in publications including the Financial Times, Daily Express, Daily Mirror, Evening Standard, and Finance Digest.
James Bentley started his career in 2009 in the financial markets for a leading trading institution by leaving his schooling and following a long list of family traders.
While working alongside some of the best traders in the industry, James’s career quickly progressed. In 2013, he decided to leave the rat race and develop a simple trading system to utilise it daily to profit from the financial markets anywhere in the world.
Over the years, James taught his high profit trading strategies to aspiring traders all over the world. Understanding different cultures, personalities, and goals of people from every continent of the world has helped James & Financial Markets Online to develop the first class education and mentoring programmes that are tailored to suit everyone in achieving their financial goals.
