Brief our audience about your journey as a business leader, What challenges are the challenges face in his journey?
Mr. Asokan Ashok, is CEO & our business leader, he is an innovator in technology for more than 30 years. The company has prospered with Ashok’s commitment, strategic thinking, and cutting-edge products and solutions. He’s a passionate and motivating leader who has used his network of relationships and expertise in the technology sector to lead UnfoldLabs to success. Ashok has always been very passionate about technology products & solutions that can make a difference in the world and help lives. He has built a host of award-winning innovative products at UnfoldLabs. He certainly disrupts the usual industry mindset as he never resists himself from doing the unthinkable.
Ashok has continued to innovate things that enhance the world despite having a first profession as a software developer. Before UnfoldLabs, Ashok held a variety of senior technology management positions in brand-name high-tech companies like Samsung, Motorola, Nokia, Ericsson, Compaq (HP), and some start-ups as well. He’s a serial entrepreneur and pioneering high-tech inventor. He presently serves on the board of directors/advisors of some technology start-ups. From a very average software employee to the position of CEO @ UnfoldLabs – an exciting journey.
What is the mission and vision of our company?
UnfoldLabs was founded to improve people’s lives by providing innovative technology products and services. Since the time of establishment, the products we have developed has made our customer’s life better and easier with technology.
Organizations must refocus and align with the new waves to keep up with the evolving trends and technology as it grows and changes quickly. The experts at UnfoldLabs specialized in mobile, cloud, and new product development/innovation and easily capture the developments through innovation. Products are developed to ensure a high level of success from the initial concept to final product development and marketing. Thus, we urge our team to focus on quality outcomes by fostering a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of our work. We’re looking forward to a society that can utilize technology at ease.
Enlighten us on how you have impacted the industry through your expertise in the market?
Passion and engagement are universal features within the UnfoldLabs community. We have developed products to help businesses grow, and people ease their daily living. Data is all over the place, and few companies are struggling to keep it organized, managed, and useful for their employees/customers. UnfoldLabs came up with an innovative API-driven Knowledge Management platform that provides advanced content management, search engine, security, analytics, and many more features. Other elements like real-time indexing, multi-lingual translation, and floats made our customers manage their knowledge efficiently with a more significant impact.

Family safety and security – our MyFamily: digital parenting platform – our experts always strive to solve human/humanity issues with technology. We have other excellent solutions like SecureME, MySecureME, and uFallAlert that have already positively impacted many of our users. We always strive to provide the best user experience with perfect functionality that can solve user problems.
What is the value that drives your organization, and throw light about the work culture of your company?
Our mantra is “be the change you wish to see in the world,” as what the CEO does and says has a greater impact and effects throughout the organization and beyond. UnfoldLabs is committed to excellence, safety, care, innovation, and responsibility. We have an open-door policy and work closely with everyone in the team, from the freshers to the CEO, because our culture is founded on a flat, hierarchical structure. Regular meetings and face-to-face briefings held every week keep our employees engaged and share information/knowledge. I think it’s more important now than it’s ever been.
UnfoldLabs is strongly encourage to work on their “learning curve” and expand their skill set. Employees often participate in a variety of training events, brown bags, online cloud learning courses, and innovation weeks. We think that brilliance and good fortune may occur by accident, yet learning is a skill that can only be acquired through hard work.
Undeniably, technology is playing a significant role in almost every sector. How are you leveraging technological advancements to make your solutions resourceful?
Advancements in information technology have been ushered in a new era of rapid change and creativity. Today’s highly consumer markets require constant innovation, particularly in modern digital transformation, if we’re to meet their high expectations. As a result, we hope to make the world a better place to live with our creative solutions such as Kapture, ReQorder, MyFamily, SecureME, unfoldQuotes, MySecureME, and uFallAlert. We’re making businesses grow and people lead a happy, easier life with technology.
What, according to you, could be the following big change in the industry? How is your company preparing to be a part of that change?
Big change in our lives has already gone over the past 2 years. Work from anywhere has brought a greater impact in the industry. Our objective has always been to adopt a more innovative approach in the industry with products that are inventive toward humanity and offer an exceptional user experience. We also see UnfoldLabs working to improve the user experience so that customers have a better overall experience with our products. Our constant goal is to use technology to provide technological products and solutions to people, making the world a better place to live.
Accessing and sharing data/information with security has been difficult these days. As a ray of hope, UnfoldLabs has developed Kapture – the Knowledge Management Platform that’s helping many businesses manage their documents, and information easily and securely. Our customer reviews after using the product made us feel that we are innovating technology according to the industry changes and business needs.
To win a technology war, you need the right people and the appropriate culture. Consequently, our HR department ensures that the right people are hired and cared for so that they can look after the interests of the customers.
What benchmark would you like set for the industry?
The future depends on what we do in present. One must live, learn and move on for betterment in life. Our long-term goal has always been to lead the industry with new solutions and customer service. What would be your advice to budding and yound entrepreneurs?
The software industry is developing at a fast pace as more and more devices are connected to the cloud. Therefore, the only people who can change quickly will be successful entrepreneurs. Get to the heart of whatever you are selling. The right mindset and willingness to learn, unlearn, and advance is essential in any field, not just the software. Technology has the potential to significantly improve people life if utilized wisely. Successful business leaders think that technology has incredible possibilities. You stand out from the crowd by blending excellent leadership and technical abilities with a creative approach to resolving challenging business issues. Knowledge Management for business has become a challenge – we made it easy with our innovative KM platform Kapture. Life/challenges is how you look at them. To be successful, you should look at the positive and negative aspects of an issue and find a better solution.
