Lee Valenta, CEO
Mr. Valenta brings 35 years of operations, financial, and M&A experience to hCentive. Prior to joining hCentive, he worked as the firm’s national healthcare practice’s worldwide managing partner for Arthur Andersen LLP. He served as the CFO and VP of corporate development at Hunter-Keith Inc. for 8 years.
He also held the position of COO of OptumInsight, where he oversaw operations for 13,000 staff members across all market segments. Additionally, he spent five years on the President’s Council. He was also in charge of the OptumInsight committee. Before becoming the COO, he worked for the company as a CFO. For the past ten years, he has been on the board of directors of Pillsbury United Communities, a social services organisation with headquarters in Minneapolis.
He is an active member of his church and sits on the council as well as a committee to support seminary students’ studies. He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a BA in accounting. The American Association of Certified Public Accountants is a group he belongs to.
