President Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) into law in 2010, but it was immediately met with vehement political opposition. But by 2016, the ACA had roughly cut the number of people without health insurance in half. 20 to 24 million more people are expected to have access to insurance by 2016. hCentive, a business situated in Reston, Virginia, was one of the pioneers that assisted the government in setting up health insurance exchanges.

As the Affordable Care Act (ACA) went into effect, hCentive, a firm founded in 2009, was the first to launch a health insurance exchange solution. The privately held corporation has been offering states across the country healthcare technology and support services. The government-focused healthcare solutions company has been a leader in the field and is well-respected.
